Hinglish, Chinglish........ and Arabish

March 17, 2018

The need to understand some one coming from different language backgrounds is very pressing. To understand these people is very challenging. Nevertheless, communicating with them is a second challenge.

Hinglish is a new language practiced in England for those who can use Hindi and English. The BBC made a report about it.

Chinglish is a term I used with my friends while I was teaching in China. Some of the Chinese students sometimes used to make funny terms and sounds when they used English.

Now, in the Gulf Region the same thing is happening, funny English and funny pronunciation. This is why I came up with this term " Arabish", Arabic English.
